So true! This seems to be the "Reformed" works-gospel. They say they believe that regeneration is not by works, but then they say
that sanctification IS by works. This is just another (more subtle) form of salvation conditioned on the sinner. There are some in
"Reformed Christendom" who would say that final glory is conditioned on perseverance and that God enables us to meet the
condition. Again, this is another subtle form of salvation conditioned on the sinner. TRUE Christianity is that ALL of salvation, from
regeneration to final glory, is conditioned on the atoning blood and imputed righteousness of Christ ALONE. If one tries to add his
own righteousness to the perfect righteousness of Christ AT ANY STAGE, then it is salvation by works, and God will not have it.
